Sozzled: XHTML=off setting in CB causes javascript files to load in wrong order. CB integration works well in K1.0.10, but only if you have the right settings. Unfortunately we didn't remember to look at every setting when we were testing the integration (2 weeks).

K1.5.2 will detect all known issues in integration and turns it off with a message in backend if problems are found. None of them are actually bugs -- they are just possible misconfigurations -- legacy features or disabled features which should be turned on.

Thanks, Matias (and I'm pleased to see you back again after your absence; I wish you all the very best on the home-front ;) )

What was interesting, in relation to this particular subject is that I had XHTML setting on in CB 1.2.1 but the Quick Reply button did not function until after I changed line 254 in ../components/com_kunena/kunena.php. Curious, eh?

Hmm.. There are also other settings that you need to look at:
1) CB 1.2.1
2) you need to have menu item for CB profiles
3) forum integration plugin must be published
4) XHTML = yes

Hi there,

for me that problem was fixed after your proposal at www.kunena.com/forum?func=view&catid=89&...it=10&start=20#17957

I still have the issue that the number of the new posts is not counted correctly, when looking at "Recent posts". It always shows the total number of posts.

Best regards

Michael

BTW: This forum is still giving me HTML Error Warnings with IE8. I guess it leaves a bad impression, if the forum of the forum developers is doing that, so I recommend to fix this. I have solved my all HTML Errors with the fix of Ethan finally.

About recent posts problem: there are many of them depending on your template. Which template are you using?

HTML errors have hopefully been fixed for next release, but I don't have Windows installed in any of my computers, so I cannot test it.

Hi Matias,

thanks for trying to help.
I am using the Simplicity Template by Joomlashack. See demotemplates.joomlashack.com/simplicity

Anyway, Ethan mentioned that he got the same problem and quite certainly he does not use the same template.

Best regards

Michael
