Question Not Getting Notice of new posts as moderator

I am not getting a notice that I have a new post to moderate and the post is getting posted without moderation.

Do you have the feature enabled?

You can also make a forum as moderated. If you do so, no messages will be shown before you accept them. Unfortunately the feature does not send email (if I remember it right), so you need to visit your forum often.

If an email is not sent indicating a new post and the post gets posted. I am not sure that is "moderation" - that would mean a spam post could be there for hours or a weekend.

Moderators need to get emails if moderation is is to yes.

So what I did was set Review (in the Advanced tab) to yes to review them before they get posted. Not my first choice but my forum is not that active...except for the spammers.

If I understood you, email moderators is set to yes?

There may be some setting in your server that causes emails not to be sent. For example my computer does not send emails at all (it's nice feature if you are testing forum with real data).

If your Joomla 1.5 installation sends emails, but Kunena doesn't, you need to wait K1.5 to get stable enough for production use as it uses Joomla mailer.

I set Review in the Advanced Tab in Forums to YES. Now I get a notice of a new post BUT the user can post without me approving the post.

What is the behavior that you want to have?
