I installed 1.0.8 because that was the version available when I originally set up the site some time ago. Never came back to look for an upgrade.
My next step will definitely be to upgrade to 1.0.9 (however... am I blind? because I can't seem to find upgrade instruction...)

Whatever a user may tell you, please upgrade, it is easy to do. Backup your files and database before, so you have no risk at all. Uninstall Kunena 1.0.8 over J! Backend, install Kunena 1.0.9 over J! backend, make a new Navigation button -thats all! Kunena 1.0.8 had still many bugs , the reasons why I told you some posts before, (but you don't talk to me :blink: ), it is highly recommend to update to 1.0.9
