Kunena 7.0.4 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
Question Moderator Emails sent to every user
However, it turns out that Kunena is sending this message to every single user. I checked in the user admin and I see that only 2 users are admins. The rest are set to NO.
I turned off admin notification for now but I'd like to fix the cause of this.
Any recommendations?

I have three questions:I have a new website and recently installed Kunena. We are beta testing with about 12 users and one user has posted a message in one of the forums. This forum was set to send a notification to the moderators.
However, it turns out that Kunena is sending this message to every single user. I checked in the user admin and I see that only 2 users are admins. The rest are set to NO.
I turned off admin notification for now but I'd like to fix the cause of this.
- You know that a notification of a new message was sent to all users how: have you asked all your users to confirm this?
- How do you know that the e-mails are "moderator" notifications and not "subscribed topic" notifications? I haven't done the testing myself to compare the two, so I wouldn't know how to tell the difference.
- Are your users subscribed to those forums they're receiving e-mail notifications about?]
The second point that I'd make is to check your Kunena configuration parameters "Post-subscription checked by default" and set it to "no" - see also docs.kunena.com/index.php/Configuration which is a mix of settings that might be desirable.
I don't know what version of Kunena you're using, but the response "update Kunena 1.0.9 [because] it's the latest stable version", without attempting to ascertain the details your problem, is not, in my opinion, very helpful advice particularly if you're already using Kunena 1.0.9.

I don't know what version of Kunena you're using, but the response "update Kunena 1.0.9 [because] it's the latest stable version", without attempting to ascertain the details your problem, is not, in my opinion, very helpful advice particularly if you're already using Kunena 1.0.9.
He postet in the 1.0.6-1.0.8 Forum so the possibility that he have 109 is small or you include that he can't read and choose the wrong forum.

We are working on that update from 1.0.8 to 1.0.9.
However, have you heard of anyone with that same problem?
