Kunena 7.0.4 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

follow the step.
1.) ftp com_kunena_v1.0.8_b1166_2009-02-17.zip to your site tmp (example www.mystie.com/tmp )
2.) login joomla administrator control.
3.) click extensions ->install/uninstall
4.) locate "Install from URL" enter your www.mysite.com/tmp/com_kunena_v1.0.8_b1166_2009-02-17.zip
5.) it will start to install, after install goto Menus and click NEW and locate kunena forum, give a title and save. Your forum will appear at your frontpage.
P.S You must meet the PHP and Mysql requirement inorder for kunena to work
When following the above, i get this:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /mysite.com/www/libraries/joomla/filesystem/folder.php on line 392
Anything I can do there? Looking cannot see anything obvious.

You can try to upload the compressed install file to your serveer and install from local directory to speed up.

If I do either the Upload Package File or the Install From Directory methods, then I get the blank white screen with incomplete tables. If I do the Install From URL method, then I get an error that says, 'Remote Server connection failed, failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found. Invalid URL.' (But I can verify the file location by browsing to www.belcommunications.net/golf/tmp/com_k...66_2009-02-17.tar.gz .)

As far as I can tell, they are OK. What am I missing?
