Finally, there has been some movement on this issue but, unfortunately, we're setting up two classes of users of Kunena here: those who use Crypsis and the 90% of everyone else who use Blue Eagle or other "non-HMVC" templates.
I am not sure that the change at line 567 is right:
This means that all topic icons must be loaded into a single folder for all non-HMVC templates. As I mentioned earlier (in msg #13) under the previous arrangement, topic icons (for "non-HMVC" templates, if you would like to describe them like that) were located (in K 3.0) in the folder
../components/com_kunena/template/<template-name>/images/topicicons/
In other words, the topic icons were dependent on which template you were using.
The change will require people to move their topic icons, irrespective of whatever "non-HMVC" template they use, into one folder:
../media/kunena/topicicons/default/
I do not think this is a satisfactory solution.

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Wow, this shit is confusing! It's just some simple icons LOL :woohoo:
I do enjoy the ability to add the category icon suffix of " icon-support" or other in the new Crypsis template for K4.x but am currious to know if there is a reference list to view availalbe options. All I could find are the 8 icons used in Kunena's Forum Tools.
[space]icon-home
icon-support
icon-list-view
icon-shuffle
icon-loop
icon-menu
icon-filter
icon-remove
Are there others for the main category icons? Are these images or web-font icons? Which ones are installed??? Can't wait to dive into the topic icons LOL

yeah there is a bug on recent topics, all icons get the dir from the last topic category.
So if you create a new topic in the category where you have the new icons, then the icon will be showed correct, but when someone is creating new topic in normal category the icon isn't showed correct.
We are still trying to find the issue.
