Solved "recent posts" does nog display all recent posts....

Die instellingen heb ik dus gedaan, en alles van categorien is openbaar voor alle users.
Het rare is dus dat als ik alles tonen kies, ik bepaalde topics in beeld krijg, als ik verbergen kies, ik weer andere topics
Dat is dus te zien op de plaatjes die ik eerder mee postte
Alles is up to date, ik had juist gehoopt dat het met een update weg zou zijn, maar helaas

I did those settings, all categories are public to all users
Funny thing is that if i choose "show all", i get some results, but when i choose "hide all", i get a different list of topics, this can be seen in the pictures i addes in my earlier post.
Everything is up to date, i updated because i hoped the problem would be gone with the latest update, but unfortunately not

Just to add, it does not matter what categories i choose in the front end settings in my admin panel, it does not affect what is shown.
only thing that has any effect is chosing to show or hide at the filter for recent.
And both settings show different topics, but again: the categories i choose do not affect anything.

Please use English language in this category. But if you want I can move this topic to NL language category.

1. You write about the recent Posts. There is a difference between Recent Posts and Recent Topics. Which menu item of this both use you? Default it should be Recent Topics.
2. The setting what should be displayed can also be set in the menu item itself (menu item Recent Topics -> tab Main Settings). The setting in the menu item has priority over the configuration setting.

I  use the default kunena Recent Topics settings

 

I can't see what is standard
But i had everything on default, untill i noticed that the list was not correct

"recent posts" does nog display all recent posts....

This is the title of your topic. But when Kunena is new installed, the Recent Topics menu item is created by default.
I would like to know if you are actually using the Recent Posts menu item or the Recent Topics menu item.
If you don't know, please create a  Configuration Report
