Solved "recent posts" does nog display all recent posts....

Since a couple of weeks, the recent posts are not displayed correctly,
there are a lot of posts missing from that view, this has resulted in us missing a couple of support questions of our members

no matter what i change on the settings (Kunena configuration, frontend, Filter category in recent, and the setting below that) it is NOT correct.
When i choose show categories it shows a number of posts, no matter what i choose in the setting below that (sorry, it is in dutch), and if i choose hide categories, i see other posts, but still not everything!

This is has not been a problem in the past, and around the time the problem occured, i did not do any updates
please help!

is it still set correctly to day/month etc?

I have it set to "month" by default.

no I only see strange lines and it also took a long time to load so it's better that you remove it.

PHP change: no, not that i know of.
settings: yes, that is what i tried to show with the pictures
But no matter what i use as settings, i never get all the recent posts complete

i am really not a fan of joomla/kunena but i only took over this forum from someone else (and migrating to other forum software is not that easy it seems)

Is the website with your forum online and available to the public?
give a link to it sometimes that can put someone on the right track.

I added pictures directly into my 'll try like this:

When i change the settings to:

Both completely different results, but make no sense to me

but also a few by selecting them separately.

je kan daar dus of alle categorieen die je wil laten zien selecteren maar ook een paar door die apart te selecteren.
Ik begrijp dus nu wel dat verwarend is  door ook de Filter categorie in recente onderwerpen keuze knop
als je op verbergen zet geld het zelfde of alles of de categorie die je kiest. dan wordt de rest wel getoont als goed is..
En het is verstandig als je iets aanpast in het administrator gedeelte om wel daar ook steeds
even de de joomla cache te wissen

ik snap je niet, wat moet ik nu instellen dan?
ik dacht hier ene keuze te moeten maken in de soort filter, dus OF je toont wat je daar onder selecteert, OF je verbergt juist wat je daar onder selecteert.
maar het maakt niet uit wat ik kies, verbergen of tonen, alles of juist maar een beetje, hij geeft altijd de 2 resultaten zoals te zien in de plaatjes

Ik wil gewoon dat alle content wordt meegenomen in de recent
ik zal even de cache opschonen en kijken of het helpt

Cache opschonen helpt niet

er zit nog een instelling daar die kan je op alle zetten om te proberen.
maar de gebruiker kan het dus zelf aan voorzijde ook instellen of hij sinds laatste bezoek  uur week of maand etc wil zien
en je mag ook onthouden als je dus aan voorzijde ingelogd bent en je heb gekeken naar zo topic dan
zou hij zich niet meer aan jou tonen in dat tijds vak omdat je anders niet meer kan zie wat echt recente topic is
beter dan dit kan ik het niet uitleggen
