Solved "recent posts" does nog display all recent posts....

Since a couple of weeks, the recent posts are not displayed correctly,
there are a lot of posts missing from that view, this has resulted in us missing a couple of support questions of our members

no matter what i change on the settings (Kunena configuration, frontend, Filter category in recent, and the setting below that) it is NOT correct.
When i choose show categories it shows a number of posts, no matter what i choose in the setting below that (sorry, it is in dutch), and if i choose hide categories, i see other posts, but still not everything!

This is has not been a problem in the past, and around the time the problem occured, i did not do any updates
please help!

is it still set correctly to day/month etc?

I have it set to "month" by default.

no I only see strange lines and it also took a long time to load so it's better that you remove it.
but has anything ever changed eg different php version or setting changed.?

PHP change: no, not that i know of.
settings: yes, that is what i tried to show with the pictures
But no matter what i use as settings, i never get all the recent posts complete

i am really not a fan of joomla/kunena but i only took over this forum from someone else (and migrating to other forum software is not that easy it seems)

Is the website with your forum online and available to the public?
give a link to it sometimes that can put someone on the right track.

but i don't understand you had some pictures added to this forum but in any way because normally i can just attach some picture in my post.
but then I don't use that button insert in message
but I often choose not to put them in the message but below it.
