Solved Warning: DOMDocument::load(): I/O warning : failed to load external entity "../public_html/administrator/KPATH_ADMIN/install/install.xml" in ../public_html/administrator/components/com_kunena/install/schema.php on line 206

I'm sure that we will be getting an updated version of Kunea that will fix this issue. I just wanted to add that even just installing Kunea, without even enabling it or trying to put it on any of my pages breaks my site.

All I do is install the latest version, I get the installation failure message that everyone else is getting. Then I reload my homepage and I get this error:

I know very little about this kind of stuff, which is why I use a platform like Joomla to help e do the simplest of things, so this may be something that others are aware of, but I just noticed it and it concerned me.

1) go to extentions - plugins - check if system Kunena plugin is enabled
2) clear cache
3) try to install kunena
4) if not working, instal admintools
5) change database collation. to utf8_general_ci
6) try to install kunena again

Hi.
I am trying to install Kunena on a brand new website, brand new domain.
Website is on Joomla 3.3.6.
I have downloaded the newest release of Kunena, and installed it using Extension Manager (Uploading ZIP file). When I click on Components in the Admin section, and then on Kunena, it gives me this error:

Nevermind. The "Kunena - System" plugin was disabled still after installing via Extension manager.

This solved the issue for me (clean install on Joomla 3.3.6)
