Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Merged Update from 2.0.4 ... directly to 3.0.1 or 3.0.0 first?

Will go ahead and try to upgrade then. Not what I do every day, but I am sure it will work out in the end :)

I unfortunately get this message ..

JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file
Invalid package type. The update can not proceed.


Just asked Joomla support, they asked me to ask you .. do you have any idea what could cause this

Did you tried joomla extension updater, or did you tried to install the package.

Hi, when I click on the icon saying that kunena needs to upgrade (in Joomla backend controlpanel) it takes me to somewhere saying Kunena live update, I press update to latest version.
I also did read the upgrade guide.

But I asked Joomla support to do it for me after getting this error message, - they obviously got the same message and send it back to me to solve.

I thought they probably would know more about doing it right than I do.

Hi, yes there is a issue with the updater on J2.5.x, please download the package: www.kunena.org/download and install it using the joomla installer. Then it will be updated.
