Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

Hi, i have joomla 3.3.3 with kunena 3.0.6

When i try to reply any message everything i wrote (even if i try with quote or other bbcode tag) the yellow bar of bbcode become red with indication about that i can use bbcode with some highlighted text...
and the submit button doesn't works.

but if i try qith quick reply everuthing works, also including bbcode

recently i have installed xmap and dpcalendar, and dpcalendar is displayed into the same page of kunena forum (it should be a reminder of some events).

The forum is only private, only registered users can view and reply on posts, i have take a look to the configuration and bbcode is activated and seems nothing configured worst.

could you give me some hints?

thanks

See NEW TOPIC and REPLY fail with errors; QUICK REPLY works

Also see vimeo.com/69818669

I have read the post, but in my case no error, maybe a delay (infite), after clicking reply, the red box over the post text and nothing else, just abort submitting for continue, and use quick reply.

do you think it could be the mail service?, effectively i have setup the forum mail address in the users tab, and also the max number of recipient, just the day before this problem.

I do not think it's a problem/issue with your mail server (but it's also possible).

If you look at other topics related to problems that people have had with the Submit button, you will see the the one possible explanation is because you may have installed another Joomla extension that loads its own Javascript library that conflicts with Mootools (see Javascript and Kunena for more information). So it's really hard to say what is causing this problem.

The only other hint I can offer, to diagnose your problem, is to disable all of Joomla plugins relating to other Joomla extensions you're using (except for the ones that affect Kunena, of course) until the submit button works. This is not a foolproof strategy but it may help to pinpoint the cause.

Perhaps it has something to do with Xmap or DPCalendar ? I really cannot say because I have never used those things. Try disabling those things and see if it makes a difference.
