Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

You might be right about menu. I can see the menu along the top,followed by the crazy 404 error. The reason why I posted it here though is that I did the automatic update from the site manager page. It went ok. or so it seemed...

Yes, I see the problem. You have a custom menu that has out-of-date menu items. Read Kunena Menu issues in the Wiki - restore the standard Kunena menu - and you will fix your HTTP 404 errors.

Thanks so much for the help on this. The issue was indeed related to the menus. I was missing a default "home" page on the main menu. Odd that it was not an issue before the Kuena update, but I guess it was going to happen eventually.

I have followed the upload/install instructions but can only see the menu item on the frontend but it is not linkable to the default categories. See image.

How can I fix this?

Go to your Joomla Menu Manager and Publish the Kunena Menu.
