I have rewrited my hack and added some new features, to be included in kunena 1.6.0 (aka Kunena 1.5.9) for the moment there are no releases dates for this kunena version.
There are some changes in the database model, so if you will use kunena 1.6.0, for the moment you will lost the polls provided with the actual hack.

this is my problem, Total number of voters are correct but the status bar are not accurate with voters but only if i use special chars..

no mysql entry on IE 8

I have made a new version 0.2.0 for the hack poll, which have the following features :

-Rewrite of the hack
-Use of a new database model
-Show in statiscs the five popular polls
-For prevent spam the users need to wait some time before vote a new time
-Add in the poll results the list of users which are voted for this poll

For use this new version, you need to remove the old tables and install the new tables, there is no upgrade procedure.

If you want new features, tell me.

Because this hack is not integrated into the core of Kunena?

Like i said above, this hack will be integrated into Kunena 1.5.9 aka Kunena 1.6.0, this is on the way.

xillibit: it would be sooo awesome if you wrote a poll module that would integrate with the forum polls.. so you could vote from the module position or from the forum, also so you could feature a given poll anywhere on your site..
