The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.8 [K 7.0.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

2) This fatal error comes from the fact that addslashes() were removed. Though, I do not recommend using it. xillibit, you should use $db->quote() instead.
3) This is mostly question of resource allocation.
Currently most of the contributions to K1.5 tree comes by me. Mostly I'm fixing bugs, which are either fatal to some of our users or easy to solve. I'm also taking in existing bug fixes made by our users.
There's two ways to get new features into K1.5:
1) someone else does most of the job, including putting the feature into svn branch
2) someone pays me to do it
I have another issue for xillibit. I'm having problems with votes not being saved to the database. It records the fact that there was a vote, and who voted, so that person can't vote again, but the actual vote isn't saved in the "hits" field in the database table. It happened to me once in the version previous to this, but it's happened a couple of times with this latest version.
