Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Set the template into the default_ex template and you are right...working now;)
Copieed my customized template into the kunena template folder, yes, a little party now;)

Just a word of caution:

The FireBoard and current Kunena contain way too much code inside the templates. As such many bug fixes go straight into those templates. We recommend that you use the templates that come with Kunena for now. In 1.0.8 we have added a very easy way to override and customize the css (colors, fonts, ...).

Going forward we will drastically simplify the templates so that template developers can easily create wonderful looking new ones.

Thank you developers for your input. :) I will use the default_ex template rather than copy my current one.

One question, why did the one site pick up a template and the other did not?

I did receive an error when I used the default_ex but after switching to the default and then back to the default_ex all seems to be good.

So this post can be deleted...
