Ok, I uploaded an image the size 128px x 96px to your forum. This was resized on upload to 1200px x 900px. So this is no stylesheet issue. Which Kunena version do you use?

In Kunena image resizing on upload is done in kunena.upload.class.php. If this file is not modified or no different file is used resizing is only done when an image exceeds the configured limits. Images which are within the limits will not be resized. They will never been blown up.

Then I am beginning to run short of ideas. Could you check on a test installation if the problem is still present when you use the original Kunena templates (Blue Eagle or Crypsis)?
