I noticed that when users upload images smaller than the max upload width the images are upsized to that settings width. I am attaching the images here for you to see. Any idea how to not have this happen?

this is done by the max-width , to prevent that the image is larger then the space width.

That is not my issue. The max width is set. My issue is when I upload a image smaller than 1200px which is what I have my max width set to it converts the size to 1200px.

So weh you upload

after uploading if you downlad it you get

So it is actually enlarging it to my max width size in my Kunena configuration.

I am having EXACTLY the same problem.

Is anyone going to respond to this question....and I would hope it is sooner
than the individual above, who has had no one respond in over a month.

Just posting pictures doesn't help much. A link to the website in question could help to analyse the problem.

This shouldn't be that hard to understand. The first individual who post this, stated it quite well, but I give it a try.

Kunena Forum: Configuration

Maximum Image Width 800 px Larger files will still be uploaded but downsized to that limit.

Maximum Image Height 800 px Larger files will still be uploaded but downsized to that limit.

The above setting is GREAT, I don't want someone uploading a 2400px X 2400px image to the forum and with the above settings, if they do, it is RESIZED to 800px X 800px. So the config is working as far as this goes.

Now, here is were I, we are having a problem with the config settings.....or lack there of.

If I try to up an image with the size say.... 121px X 121px it uploads the image....

BUT....it blows the image up to the config setting size of 800px X 800px instead of 121px X 121px

HOW DO I STOP THE "ENLARGING" OF SMALLER UP LOADED IMAGES.

I have no problem to understand what the problem should be. I just can't reproduce it. On my website "Maximum Image Width" is set to 800px. Images wider than the maximum width are resized to that value. "Maximum Image Height" is set to 800px, too. Again, images higher than the maximum height are resized to that value. Images smaller than the set values keep the original size.

I do repeat myself: a link to the website in question could help. Wild guess is not helpful.

I just retried.

Setting 800 x 800

When I upload the image above. The size still stays 370 x 115
