Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.
The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.
If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your
configuration report
when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

As I mentioned, the next major version of Kunena (K 3.0) will not support IE8. What other organisations do or do not do is a matter for them. It is infeasible for the Kunena project (with the limitations on its resources) to continue to prop-up an outmoded browser technology than it is to abandon efforts in those areas and move forward. If specific users of any product that has abandoned efforts to support outdated browsers then that is a matter for those people to make their own arrangements. There are are specialist programmers who catering to these custom needs if people require such services.
