Okay, just so I'm clear and you are too. Right now I am running J2.5.11 and Kunena 1.7.2 2012-01-31 and the category and forums are working perfectly. I already did the migration successfully using SPupgrade.
Now I am trying to upgrade from K1.7.2 to K.2.0.3 or K2.0.4. This is the stage where the values all go to 0. Why would it be an issue with the previous migration?
I just want to make sure, because it would seem otherwise.

I've tried what you said. I can't get it to work. The category's are there, but there are 0 topics in each one. If I go to the DB I see the messages.

Why don't you try upgrading from K 1.7.2 to K 3.0.0 instead?tokenring wrote: Okay, just so I'm clear and you are too. Right now I am running J2.5.11 and Kunena 1.7.2. I am trying to upgrade from K1.7.2 to K.2.0.3 or K2.0.4.

I didn't realize that there was a newer version and 2.0.4 for Joomla 2.5. That is the version I am running. Even if that upgrade path is possible and exists, that doesn't explain the reason why on even making a smaller jump (upgrade) is causing my categories and topics to not show up.
I showed that the DB still has them and that the permissions look right ( I think so ). I would like to solve this, rather than picking another version to see if it helps.
Can we look at that?
Thanks for getting back to me!
