If you turn to your kunena administration control panel and choose forum-administration - do you find any entries there?

Well I have the same problem and I have two posts there... I however cannot post anything or reply to anything on the front-end (user side)

Hi

after sleeping on it, ive returned to try again with a forum on my site.

After reading through serveral posts here it appears that :

Please note: To create a Category, choose 'Top Level Category' as a Parent. A Category serves as a container for Forums.
A Forum can only be created within a Category by selecting a previously created Category as the Parent for the Forum.
Messages can NOT be posted to a Category; only to Forums.

may be the issue.

I dont have a Top Level Category option, simply says : No Parent.

Im pretty sure that this is the issue.

suggestions would be well received.

Summary - issue is that when entering the forum on my site - there are no (new thread options)

** added to a new topic by mistake **

For those that are new I recommend you load the sample data. Play with it, then delete it (do not modify it to make it look like the setup you need) and the build a setup you like.

The sample data will show you the structure that is required.

Hope this helps!
