E-mail notification to Moderator? was created by alistair2802
Is it possible to get a notification e-mail sent to the moderator or administrator everytime someone makes a post on the forum?
I've tried selecting the 'review' field in the forum configuration, which I could settle for as a solution (although I don't want to have to put people's posts 'on hold' until I've reviewed them), but that doesn't work either.
Anyone help.

The last time that I dealt with a problem like this it turned out that the user with the problem hadn't registered their correct e-mail address.
@alistair2802:Let's elimininate the wrong e-mail address problem
Let's eliminate a Kunena configuration problem:
@alistair2802:
- Let's eliminate the e-mail server problem:
- Have you successfully sent mail before from your website?
- How is e-mail configured for use with Joomla on your website?
- Is your website hosted, or local to your personal computer (and therefore do you have an e-mail server on your computer)?
- Make sure that the Joomla username (that you want to be a moderator of your forum) has a valid e-mail address.
- Have you made the user, whose email address is correct, a moderator of the forum? This doesn't happen automatically except for your site super administrators.
- Check your other configuration parameters and make them "standard": see docs.kunena.com/index.php/Configuration

Thanks so much for your willingness to help me out. Responses to questions below.
1. Let's eliminate the e-mail server problem:
* Have you successfully sent mail before from your website?
Yes.
* How is e-mail configured for use with Joomla on your website?
PHP mail function
* Is your website hosted, or local to your personal computer (and therefore do you have an e-mail server on your computer)?
Hosted.
2. Let's elimininate the wrong e-mail address problem
* Make sure that the Joomla username (that you want to be a moderator of your forum) has a valid e-mail address.
Yes, double checked it.
3. Let's eliminate a Kunena configuration problem:
* Have you made the user, whose email address is correct, a moderator of the forum? This doesn't happen automatically except for your site super administrators.
Yes, I have two forms, and the moderator has been added to both and is showing in both.
* Check your other configuration parameters and make them "standard": see docs.kunena.com/index.php/Configuration
Have reset them all according to the suggestions.
I have created a sample thread. But still do not receive any e-mails (tested with 'e-mail moderators' set to 'yes' and 'no').
Interstingly, now I have chaged my configuration, I have 'Trgistered Uses only' set to 'no' (was previously 'yes'), but the forum is not showing publicly??? (I have cleared cache and temp files).
I did originally download Kunena 1.5, relaised I shouldn't have, uninstalled it and reinstalled 1.0.9 and everything seemed to transition just fine, but could this be something to do with my problem do you think?
