Question Custom change requested: real names in list of moderators

"username" was already set to "no".

Just clicked on "Recount Category Stats" and no effect.
Made sure to refresh page ctrl-F5

Names of people who post shows the real names. Only moderators show usernames.

I see what you want. Yes, what you've illustrated is how things are normally supposed to work. I've never really taken much notice of the "list of moderators" (and that's probably the case with most users, too) and I'm sure people will make allowances.

In order to fix this, you will have to make some changes to the source code. Before someone (like me, perhaps) figures out what you need to do, are you prepared to make these changes yourself? Or would you rather someone includes this as a requested "feature" in the future?

You guys are awsome! Thanks again for the help! In the files you mentioned "username" was changed to "user" and the problem was solved. had nothing to do with Community Builder or other apps.

Back on topic. You're not necessarily going to get immediate help and I suggest that you edit your initial post and change it to something like what I've written "Custom change requested: real names in list of moderators"

I think I've found the area of code that needs to be changed. It's buried in ../components/com_kunena/template/ and then in whatever template subfolder of that ... in the file listcat.php.

I haven't got time tonight (it's after 5:00 pm here and I have to organise our dinner) to write, test and send you details of the code changes (and I'm not sure I could do it :blush: ) so you will probably have to wait a while before someone gives you the help you're asking for.

And, furthermore, as this is not really a support issue (it's more like "hey, look, I found a bug and do you think we could fix it sometime in the future") any help that you get will be the unofficial kind.
