What would be the best recommendation to install Kunena on J! 3.0 ?
Can we get Kunena 3.0 zip package/source somewhere on Git Hub / SVN ?

Kunena is an open source project. There is a link to GitHub (where the source code repository is located) on the download page

The main concern was could it be used to install on J! 3.0
We do not see Kunena 3.0 on Git Hub, neither on joomlacode.org/gf/project/kunena/frs

Any recommendation how to install it on J! 3.0 ?

We do not see Kunena 3.0 on GitHub

Thank you for letting me know. I am not a developer so I don't know these things.

Only publicly-released versions are stored there. K 3.0 is not publicly available

The best way to assist the Kunena project is to join the Kunena team as a developer and help us overcome the numerous problems (and defects) that we're discovering every day with J! 3.0. Would you be interested in doing that?

I'd be happy to be a bug tester. I've done it before with at least one other extension. I carefully identified the problems and reported back which was helpful in the extensions stable release.

Any suggestions how to join? I have looked all around and can't find out how to.

Mainly though, for a new site I'm keen to experiment with J3.0 & K3.0. I'd rather not start the new site with J2.5, are we looking at an imminent public release for K3.0 or is it weeks/months away. Is there any way I can help beta test?

Many thanks
