Kunena 6.3.7 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.7 [K 6.3.7] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x/5.2.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3
Note: Please go to the Kunena Dashboard after an upgrade so that the Kunena database tables are also updated.

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised user contributions, (templates, modules, plugins and hacks) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, these ideas in these topics will not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

I'm now at J1.7 and K1.6.5, and the birthday module tells me I need PHP 5.3, and the server only has 5.2.x :-(

Best regards

Yes because I use the new Date class in J1.7 because the old is deprecated and that have one function which was added on PHP 5.3 ... Anyway all good hosters I know already updated to 5.3.

It's only a time factor when other J1.7 components or J1.7 itself requires PHP 5.3 ... I think lately with next LTS Version you have to update PHP ...

You can update PHP or use 1.7.2 of the birthday module.

As it's still a testsite, I have it running on my NAS, and I've pushed QNAP to get them to update it, so that will probably happen in the near future (here's hoping :-) ).

Thanks

How many of you are using the module with J1.5? The support for J1.5 end at April and that's why I don't see a sense in adding new features in the J1.5 version. That would be doubled work ...

That's why I atm only add new features to the J1.6+ version …

Still using J1.5 - it's just very time intensive to test all the things and components and to do a successful migration!

Still using J1.5 on one site, but the new site is well under way. Second site I've built for my own is using J1.7. But sadly it's still PHP 5.2, not 5.3
