Kunena 7.0.3 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.3 [K 7.0.3] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.

I've discussed this general matter with fxstein and we still see this as a priority activity. The basics for a migrator have already been put together. It remains for someone willing to dedicated their time to assist the project to take that idea forward. If someone would like to do that, please contact fxstein directly by PM.
We would like to progress this (possibly as a paid job) if people were willing to sponsor it. The issue now remains to see who is able to undertake the work and where we would obtain that financial sponsorship.

First of all thank you and other a lot for ALL the information that has been shared.
Development work on Kunena 2.0 and several custom projects came in the way. Nobodies fault, we all just live off spare time that most of the team here donates freely.
Having said that, we have an opportunity right now to make this happen.
Check back over the next couple of days. We hope we can put this request to rest soon.
