Ok, so I am having an issue installing the new Kunena 1.6.1
I do have a limited upload on the server (2mb) so I can not install the .zip file
When I tried to do you alternate route (by url: joomlacode.org/gf/download/frsrelease/13...b3858_2010-11-06.zip ) this is the message I get (image below). Is there anything I can do or am I going to have to ask my provider to change the upload max?

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems with the installation of Kunena.
One alternative method that you might try is to unzip the installation kit on your PC and upload (via FTP) the contents to a folder on your website (and then use the second installation option).

Hi folks, I need a little help. I'm trying to upgrade from 1.6.0 to 1.6.4, so I have tried the 3 options and didn't get.
By useing the 1st option "Upload package" from computer loading the zip file I get the error message "Error when trying to move the files";
By using the 3rd option the URL, I get the error message: "Failed reading network resource: Non-static method JError::raiseWarning() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context, invalid URL" which isn't invalid url if I place in a browser I get to download the file.
By using the 2nd way suggested here, "FTP" and pointing the directory, i tried with htpp, without, with slash at the end, and so on and I get the error message: "Please inform the package directory!". Urrrrrgh, I've informed in several ways. Do I need to point to an specific file? Example:
www.mysite.com/tmp_inst/inst_kunena164/install.kunena.php
How should be my directory above pointed in that input field? Any help will be appreciated!
I have tried with and without http:\\ (//):
www.mysite.com/tmp_inst/inst_kunena164/install.kunena.php
www.mysite.com/tmp_inst/inst_kunena164/install/
www.mysite.com/tmp_inst/inst_kunena164/
www.mysite.com/tmp_inst/
tmp_inst/inst_kunena164/install.kunena.php
tmp_inst/inst_kunena164/install/
tmp_inst/inst_kunena164/
tmp_inst/
Nothing worked.
Thanks in advance and have a nice sunday!
