Kunena 7.0.4 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Put

into view.php and all i see is that text
Even though 'use J plugins' is on and ContentLoadModules plugin is active.

It depends on what kind of Kunena template you're using but, if you're using the standard Blue Eagle template then the information you need is contained in the article

If you want to place the Kunena Search module on your page just like you see it here at this site, use the Joomla Module Manager and assign the Kunena Search module to the position kunena_profilebox. It's all pretty straightforward, really, and it was all explained in the article that I referred to.
But I don't believe that your problem, kina, was related to the issues canvassed in msg #1 of this topic (which is related to Kunena template design/development).
