Hy!

When I look at some public topic in Kunena (as not logged in user), and I click on users name to see his details, I must normally log in, but then I get this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method JController::getInstance() in \...\components\com_users\users.php on line 17

Line 17:
$controller = JController::getInstance('Users');

What can I do? Thanks.

Can you please, please post your K 1.6 configuration report. We do not know anything about your site except that you are using K 1.6.4 ... and that's not a lot to work with. :pinch:

We prefer to resolve these things on the forum. We could probably have answered your question in the very first post you made if you had included you K 1.6 configuration report.

It doesn't matter that you have removed your site URL. We don't need to see it anyway and, as no-one else can see it, so you only wasted your time by editing the K 1.6 configuration report.

These are your problems:

(1) You are using legacy mode. 75% of the people who ask for our help do not need legacy mode. If you don't need legacy mode, don't use legacy mode. Please read the important information about using legacy mode.

(2) You have set Forum Configuration » Integration » Integration Options » Activity Notifications = Auto detect
You don't need this. Set it to None. Even better, set all Kunena config options back to their default values. Make sure that Kunena works with default values before you change things, and check what happens when you change things.

(3) If you want to use the Kunena Search plugin and the Kunena Latest module, please upgrade to the latest version. The versions that you are using are not compatible with K 1.6.4. If you don't use or need these things, then uninistall them.

(4) You may want to look into using Joomla SEO - see Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) in the Wiki. This isn't related to your current problem, it's just a suggestion. :)

It is possible that, even if you fix the things I've mentioned above, you may have not properly installed K 1.6.4 correctly. If necessary you may need to re-install K 1.6.4. Please read K 1.6 Upgrade Guide .

Next time you have a problem, please post your updated and unedited K 1.6 configuration report for a faster response. Thank you. :)
