Hi all, I have a site at dogsites.com.au with Kunena installed that was working fine but it is for some reason no longer allowing posts to be added to the forums. I cannot recall anything that I have done would have caused the forums to allowing posts, I have not altered any part of the forum system pre the upgrade so cannot figure out why I am having these issues.

I have updated it to 1.7 and also Joomla 1.5.23 and tried the default template and still no help. So here I am asking for help, anyone have some things I can try that may fix the issues I am having?

Some other 'possible' conflict components are

JomSocial 2.0.6
Flyspammer blocker 1.1.2
tagmeta 1.4 Ent.
xmap 1.2.11

plus others but I cannot see how they would affect Kunena

You should also update Kunena Latest and Kunena login. FYI: you have two login boxes in the forum, please remove one of them (either module or disable login integration from Kunena)..

I have no glue what could cause posting to fail. What happens when you try to post? Do you have the same issue with administrator (who doesn't have any limits in Kunena)?

Also try to enable debug mode, that will probably reveal what's happening.

I have tried the default template as I said above. JomSocial update I will try also later, but not sure why that will impact, as well as the module updates (thanks)

The same happens as Admin and Registered user.

I will debug more and see what happens, thanks for the suggestions.

First I would check if all the database tables are OK:
1) phpMyAdmin: check all tables
2) Log into administration and check this URI: administrator/index.php?option=com_kunena&view=install&layout=schema

Joomla debug should also reveal possible SQL issues.
