Question Unreaded Post only

you still missunderstand me, i am thankfull to your answer, the fact for me is only, we wont have this function in the future with Kunena and i have to explain it to my community how the ^for us new forum^ works.
We will use for sure Kunena, because it is a great forum. The only problem for me at this time, i use newest kunena and newest joomla. And at the moment there are not all usefull plugins for kunena under joomla 1.6.1 available, like birthday function ore something else. So i have to wait a little bit until its released.

There was never a function in Kunena - in any version of Kunena - that did what you wanted to do. There was never an "unread post only" function. Therefore I am at a loss to understand what you mean by "we won't have this function in the future with Kunena" when you never had a specific function in the first place.

The Recent Topics view provides this information. Is there something wrong with the Recent Topics view on your website? Does the Recent Topics view on your site work differently to the Recent Topics view on this website ( www.kunena.org )? :dry:

dont you want to understand me ? at the moment we use a "PHPKIT-CMS".
This phpkit cms has this function with unreaded posts only, I try to get my users to Joomla CMS, I KNOW THAT KUNENA DOES NOT HAVE THIS FUNCTION, but my users DO NOT, it is just a FACT that i have to explain to my users, that we will not have this function with KUNENA Forum.
I just wanted to say, that i have to explain to my users, guys with new system, we have no link to unreaded.
So, where is the problem ? I asked something and get an answer.

If you understand that Kunena does not have this problem then that's all we can say about this. It's your job to explain the differences between Kunena and "phpkit" to your users and that's not our problem. There will, no doubt, be other differences. As I wrote earlier, Kunena is Kunena and has its own features, some of which may not exist in other products and, vice versa, there will be things missing in other software that Kunena offers instead. I don't see a reason for continuing this discussion to debate the facts.
