Question Unreaded Post only

Hello Kunena Team, i want to link in my 1.6.3 forum only New Posts.

Better explaining

Forum usage normally, on other place ( Modul with link to profil and so on ) at startpage i want to set a link to

Is it somehow possible with kunena to display only "unreaded Posts " only, after klicking on a link ?
And if I read this posts, after klicking on this link again, it should be not shown again, until a new post followed

I´m totally new to Joomla and Kunena.

No, there is no way to display only unread topics and nothing else.

I use the Recent Topics view for viewing unread topics and it method works fine for me in this forum.

This is not the answer i hoped to become here, but thanks for your quick answer, we used the unread only function in phpkit very often, hmmmmm

I don't know what phpkit is. Kunena is Kunena. Kunena does not have the same feature set as other web-based discussion forum software (and other products don't have the same features as Kunena, either) and that's good. It would be rather dull, wouldn't it, if every forum product did everything that all the others did?

please, dont understand me wrong, i dont wanna find an other forum solution,because i have already importet nearly 31000 postings from this phpkit forum to my kunena installation.I try get my community away from this phpkit cms, with very simple forum. It was a lot of work to explain the forum functions to them. And now, comes a new forum , you know what i mean ? So, i just want to keep the explanation as small as possible
But if there is know way to do this with kunena, no problem.

I can only repeat the advice I gave earlier. This feature that you want is not currently available in Kunena and there are no plans to develop this feature at the present. I suggest that you use the Recent Topics view to see what messages are unread; that's what I do and it works satisfactorily for most people.
