Kunena 7.0.4 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
Question Can not upload file attachment

OK, I'm totally open to trying things that you think would fix the problem, however the problem still duplicates itself with the default Joomla! template. As I stated before, I uploaded the site using a "Site Shaper" or installer package, which for lack of better words installs the website in it's "demo" form, thus meaning there are other extensions installed from the beginning.
I do not like the concept of uninstalling all other extensions associated with Joomla! in order to "test", just so you can ask if I have.
Is it possible to try Matias' suggestion about making some adjustments to the PhP Configuration, the ting that sticks out to me is this: JFile::copy: Cannot find or read file: 'C:\WINDOWS\Temp\phpE184.tmp'.
It's trying to use a file from my workstation, not the web server. how can I adjust this path "JFile::copy: Cannot find or read file: 'C:\WINDOWS\Temp\phpE184.tmp'"?
Cheers

That wasn't what I was suggesting. If you read in the K 1.6 & K 1.7 Installation Guidedarkened wrote: I do not like the concept of uninstalling all other extensions associated with Joomla! in order to "test", just so you can ask if I have.
I was not saying that you should uninistall anything at this stage. I was, however, offering you a way to establish whether your hosted platform is capable of running Kunena. If we establish that your hosted platform will run Kunena in a no-frills environment then we need to consider what are the differences between that working environment and the one you're trying to fix. Does that make sense to you?Practice makes perfect
Even the most hard-nosed, seasoned Joomla user knows the value and the importance of having a test site. It is probably even more important for new uses of Joomla to have a site where they can experiment and trial new ideas and software before they consider installing these things on their live, production sites. Without a doubt, the simplest and most effective way to ensure a smooth installation of Kunena is to start with a clean Joomla installation* and then install Kunena. If this works then there is a very good chance that your "real" installation will be just as successful.
Familiarising yourself with the procedure before you use it on your "real" site can avoid many problems.

* When we say "clean Joomla installation" we mean Joomla with absolutely minimum changes made to it. In particular we mean Joomla with no other extensions added. For more background, see Which came first? The template or the forum?
The fact that your site reports "JFile::copy: Cannot find or read file: 'C:\WINDOWS\Temp\phpE184.tmp" simply suggests that it has something to do with a Microsoft Web server. That's all it that the message tells me.

But as I said earlier, your issue looks like server mis-configuration rather than Kunena issue. Can you upload other files than images or is the issue related to images only?

I am able to upload photos fine using the back-end and the front-end admin edit article feature. I am able to upload avatars and such in JomSocial. The only area where I have an issue at is trying to do file attachments in Kunena.
I totally agree, Joomla! should generate better error messages

Now we just need to find out why? In most servers uploads works just fine, but what makes your environment different..? Is it just attachments (images, zip or both?) or do you have the same issue with Kunena avatars? What happens if you try to upload rank in the backend?
