Sticky If you are having problems with Kunena, please read this first

You posted your question in the General Talk about Kunena category. I see that you last posted on this forum about two years ago. Welcome back.

Not being able to attach images on forum posts could be caused by a lot of things but, when you say that "every time you hit the add button it does nothing" I think you have a Javascript library conflict. I am considering that this is probably the likeliest reason because you were using a very old version of Kunena when you last wrote to us and, as you say, you "downloaded the latest version hoping that would fix the problem". The question is, did you read the upgrade guide before you installed "the latest version"?

Suggestions:

(2) Post your K 1.7 configuration report

I have narrowed it down to the template. If I switch the site template the problem goes away.

Try to enable Joomla 'System - Mootools Upgrade' plugin

You cannot "enable" the System - Mootools Upgrade plugin in J! 2.5.1 because there is no such thing in J! 2.5.x.

Nonetheless, the problem is the same as the issues referred to in msg #1 of this topic. There is a Javascript library conflict caused by something loaded by another Joomla extension on the problem site (but I don't know white one it is). I would discuss your issue with the people who developed the jv-framework template; ask them if their template works with K 1.7.2.
