Joomla SEO settings are fully explained in the guide in the Wiki: Search Engine Optimization (SEO)jonny3010 wrote: well i when in to the global settings and change the Search Engine Friendly URLs to no as well as Use Apache mod_rewrite to no. kunena now works.
This is standard Joomla. There is no bug in Kunena.
[strike]The point is that, in your case, you have overcome the "redirect loop" and that's where this discussion should stop. Thank you for your help.
Late edit: I misunderstood the message. It appears that the user is unable to understand how to setup Joomla SEO without causing "redirect loop" problems.

Sometimes people write here "I read somewhere ..." and that's all we hear. I'm not doubting that you read something but, in response, I must ask you, "Where did you read this?" Yes, K 1.6.1 fixed many problems with K 1.6.1. You are already using K 1.6.1.jonny3010 wrote: ill give it a go but i read somewhere that a guy have the same problem so he when to 1.6.0 from 1.6.1. and it worked again so im thinking kuneuna team has change somthing?? to do with SEO
