Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

sorry, i probably did not understand you.

when i go to my site (as a guest) and enter our form, then let's say click on Recent Topics, there is just one topic with post from one user. when i click on that user i can see complete profile. I do not want that any person, not registered would be able to see user's profiles.
I assume that I did not do setup properly and need your help.

O, please, no! there are 2 flags. click on British flag to switch to an English. Then there are 3 tabs on the top menu. 3rd one is Our Forum. If you click on that you will see the menu. click recent topics and then on the user there and profile will open right there

Thanks. I figured things out even with the little bit of knowledge I have with Cyrillic script. I can't reproduce the problem here at Kunena.com nor with my own test sites either. I think this might have been a defect with the RC2 version that has been fixed in a later release. I'm sorry for your inconvenience.

but were you able to get in and see what i'm saying?
and who should I speak with to see how it can be fixed.

As much as i understand, in my profile there should be options like edit profile and privacy. I do not have them. Maybe this is an issue?

Yes, I was able to see at first-hand the symptoms of your problem. I don't know what causes the problem. I suspect that there was something wrong with RC2 that has since been fixed but I could be wrong. It could also be some configuration setting issue; you can check this for yourself by using the Default configuration setting. Go to your administration site, Components » Kunena » Configuration, click the Default icon on the top right of the page and then see if this makes any difference.

You asked if there a fix for the problem: I would say that, because I can't see the issue in RC3, yes, the issue has been fixed in a later version of Kunena.
