Question Migration K.1.5.10 to K 1.6.0B lost most avatars

Example:

This avatar did migrate and is in it´s palce in Kunena 1.6 rc:


This avatar did not migrate and is missing in Kunena 1.6 rc:


Both are .jpg pictures and in same place ("/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/avatars/") and about same size.

I think I´m getting sorted this out

I checked carefully all files in category '/fbfiles/avatars/' (there were a lot of them) and found two corrupted pictures size 0 kt and a few .JPG images of which type were text/x-generic instead of image/x-generic. Deleted those and gave another try. Most of user avatars came through to Kunena 1.6 now

Still missing those avatars that I have placed to /fbfiles/avatars/gallery for users to select. Apparently Kunena 1.6 migration is not even planned to bring those?

You're right. For now you need to copy galleries by hand.

I'm confused. Where is the avatar gallery supposed to be?

It used to be in images/fbfiles/avatars/gallery.

But now, in the backend under the avatars tab, next to the option to use the avatar gallery, the help text says, "Set to Yes if you want registered users to be able to choose an avatar from a gallery you provide (components/com_kunena/avatars/gallery)." Is this where the avatar gallery should be now?

I just migrated from K 1.5.12 to 1.6 RC1 and my avatar gallery no longer appears in the dropdown menu, but they're still on the server in the old directory.

Avatar gallery is located in media/kunena/avatars/gallery.

I need to update that description..

Oh, fantastic! Moving them to media/kunena/avatars/gallery restored my avatar gallery.
