Yesterday I tried to install Kunena 1.6 alpha 2 on Joomla 1.6 beta 3

I got the same errors than pieter.

Then I changed from PHP 5.2 to PHP 5.3 an it works (must do reinstall)

But in the COMPONENT Menu is no entry

the rest works

I've got it working in the back end (without menu items) but when I try to link to it in the front end there is no option in the menu item type, and also it seems to conflict with the latest news module giving the following error

Fatal error: Class 'JModel' not found in /home/myhost/public_html/mysite/modules/mod_articles_latest/helper.php on line 14

Also if I link to it as an external link, com_kunena is removed so the link doesn't resolve as it's pointing at www.mysite.co.uk/index.php?option=

Note, disabling all instances of the latest news modules allows the component to appear but there are the following errors at the top of the page

* JLIB_APPLICATION_ERROR_COMPONENT_NOT_LOADING
* JLIB_APPLICATION_ERROR_COMPONENT_NOT_LOADING

Hello,

on which joomla! version do you have tried to use kunena 1.6 ?

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.
