It is fully works with Kunena. Just make some security question. And if you give the rights to the guests to post on yr forum without registration, yr security question will be shown at every attempt guest to post something. Just under text editor window. So before you post - you have to answer.

Also it is work well on normal joomla user registration. Thanks again to this man, who made that plugin !finally! for joomla.

With 4 years struggling with Kunena and Joomla, finally I have assumed that I failed with Kunena!

Whenever I install Kunena, I see huge number of spam registrations even after putting ReCaptcha in registration form.

Is there any 100% spam free solution?

I have no signature :)

Not that I know off. Its a multi-million dollar issue even the largest companies struggle with. If you have enough of a presence, especially in the software people use, many will find a way to exploit the registration system in your software. We hate spam too, but the battle is an uphill one. More of the common practices work to slow spam down, but there is no way to block people to create manual spam accounts. We try to fight automation based attacks, but even those can be tricky.

There is no guaranteed 100% effective solution to prevent spam getting into your forum - and this applies to any forum, anywhere in the world, not just forums built using Kunena - except for your vigilance.

Vigilance means that you have to always be on your guard to look out for spam and, when you see it, to remove all traces when it occurs. That's what we do here at this site and that's what is done everywhere else, too. Do you see spam here?

G'day, Michael, and welcome to the forum.

There are several things that you can do to stop people posting objectionable material on your forum. You can ban accounts that post these kinds of things (watch the video How to ban users in Kunena ).

Also, this topic offers many other useful hints and links to various products that help prevent these kinds of incidents happening in future. I hope this helps.

I have the Captcha setup for users that post but I am getting a ton of spam users registering for accounts. Can I use Captcha when people go to create an account for my forum?
