I've seen this bug/issue now and then, but I'm not able to reproduce it.

Kunena detects administrators by getting all asset rules for com_kunena (manage + admin) and by fetching all groups who have rights in those assets. After that Kunena loads all users who have above rights.

Have you changed your user groups or rights in them?

Thank you for your reply,

Do you mean Joomla ACL?

Is it ok, that I PM admin credentials to you, if you could take a "quick" look at it?

Hi Matias,

PM Sent,

Thank you very much.

In the meantime, a college got an error while posting a reply:

500 Internal server error
Fatal Error detected
Access to undeclared static property: KunenaAccessJoomla16::$viewLevels in components/com_kunena/libraries/integration/joomla16/access.php on line 127

The error was detected en kunena component.

But the post showed in the thread as it should. (??)

Thank you again.

Now it works. You have set Access Component = Allow for guests in Global Configuration > Permissions. Option gives everyone (including guests) full administration (core.manage) rights for every component.

Fortunately Kunena itself prevents that from guests..

My users are defaulting in the forums to Administrator.

I need to default users to a different state. I created a rank called registered but do not know how to default my users to this level.
