arnold122: what version of Kunena are you using? If you are using K 1.5.8 or K 1.5.9, please read Avatar not display in Kunena 1.5.9 . :)

morfina: I don't know whether my advice to arnold122 will help you or not. :unsure:

You have verified that your problem is not caused by the superfluous left brace ({) at line 335 of the file ../components/com_kunena/template/default/plugin/myprofile/myprofile_avatar_upload.php? Yes? :unsure:

Perhaps, you might provide us with a link to your website so that we can see the problem? :dry:

Operation not permitted

Operation not permitted is usually related to host. I had that problem, with several Joomla! extensions. Told host to reset ownership so I can change folders/files permission. That solved editing & FTP problems too.

When you contact host, be specific. Say, you need them to reset ownership to /home/yoursite/public_html/components/com_XXXX/directory

Hope that helps :).

I am... Kunena 2.0.4 with CB 1.9 on Joomla 1.5.26.

Thank you for posting a message in order to demonstrate your problem.

Have you inspected line 335 in the file ../components/com_kunena/template/default/plugin/myprofile/myprofile_avatar_upload.php as I have asked you to do?

The line has two left braces {{

... SET avatar='{{$kunena_db->getEscaped($newAvatar)}' ...

Remove one of those. Have you done that? :S

So, let me be sure I understand what you have just said. You have looked at the file, you have not made any changes, and you only have one left brace where I have indicated. Is that correct?
