Question no barcode, no smiles

1. It should work about the normal deinstallation routine of Joomla backend -> extensions -> deinstallation components.

If you want to deinstall manually (not recommend), you should delete the folder

• com_kunena , you find it in components
• com_kunena, you'll find it in administrator/components
• fb_files, you'll find it in images

Additional you can delete the dababase tables with the prefix jos_fb
Before you do this, please make a backup of your database.

With these instructions, you have a "from Kunena cleaned" base.

Install Kunena over Joomla backend -> extension -> installation.

After successful installation, upload with ftp the russian language file (don't replace the english one) and upload the folder russian into folder images (see my post above). If you have no folder russian, download the folder english, rename it to russian and upload it.

Use the template default_ex and upload the folder russian into
components/com_kunena/template/default_ex/images

how come I have kunena running and have no such mysqltables?


i do have test_fb_* thou...

jos_ is the default prefix of Joomla. Someone has changed it, while the installation of joomla.

I am not sure, if test_fb are the database tables of Kunena, should be so. Make a database backup! so you can repair a damaged database. Here is a screenshot of all database tables of Kunena:

Can it be the problem for what?

That the database tables have not the prefix jos_ but test_ ?
That you can not deinstall and install kunena?

On both questions I can give you a clear No.


If you follow my instructions above (it is not necessary to delete the database-tables, but you asked how to delete all installed files and datas from kunena), you will have smilies and board-icons.

If you like, you can send me a Administrator Access Account (per PM) and I would need FTP-access, then I will install it for you. And I would need the file kunena.russian.php or a download-link to get it somewhere.
