Alistair, with due respect, your situation is not as dire as you suggest. You have, after all, allowed two weeks to elapse in order to conclude that my advice is unsatisfactory instead of trying to deal with your own issues. I have already provided you with several approaches on how to tackle the problem. :)

The problems associated with having a login module on every page of a Joomla website confront all Joomla users at one time or another. The fact that Kunena also links to the Joomla login form - for when when users have not logged-in - may, perhaps, cause some additional headaches. But if things were that bad, that unsolvable, this forum would be flooded with questions on this very subject. :S

The solution is in your own hands. You will find many ideas in this forum if you look for them. Just because I have implied that the solution requires some effort on your part should not be taken as an unprofessional opinion - it's the best advice that I can give you or anyone. However, we're all entitled to our own opinions even though we may disagree. :)

Hi sozzled, we agree to disagree and that's fine, but I don't think I've ever said you opinion was unprofessional, I said OUR website now looks unprofessional. And you're right, it's no big deal, the fact that we're taking the issue so slowly shows it too, no big deal at all.

I've scouted the Forum trying to find the correct solution to remove login and logout and yes there are many of them, some outdated, some require hacking, some report you to other websites too, we'll see in the next two weeks ;) but if someone in the meantime wants to write a clearer guide on how to tackle the issue once and for all please feel free to do so :) for now we've modified the CSS using displaynone
