I'd love to see what type of hand this forum was intended for if its supposed to fit like a glove.
I used to run over night batch and backup schedules, correct JCL and bring up online systems in the morning for major banks and car manufacturers. This is beyond me.

I made perhaps half-a-dozen changes to your test site. By the end of the process we had everything working. I can't say for sure that what I did made a difference or not. However, to summarise the changes I made, this is what I did.
- Uninstalled Agora forum software
- Removed (unpublished) references to other forums
- Disabled the System - Legacy plugin (your dev. site is now running Joomla 1.5 native)
- Modified the two SEO settings so that your site is now using native Joomla SEF URLs (this also allows Kunena to use SEF URLs)
- Removed Community Builder 1.2 com_comprofiler and mod_cblogin components
- Installed Community Builder 1.2.1 com_comprofiler and mod_cblogin components
- Published (enabled) and configured CB 1.2.1 Forum Integration plugin for Kunena
- Modified a couple of minor Kunena configuration settings (for example, turned off "subscribe me by default when I post" setting - not important but helpful, perhaps.
Would you like me to review your live site, similarly?
Cheers

I didn't realise you'd done so much. How did you work out what needed doing? All these different modules are written by different people - how do you work out what's what?
I appreciate your efforts.
live user name and password now the same as dev image.

This is a summary of the steps I went through:
- Turn off legacy mode
- Turn on Joomla SEO/SEF
- Install Kunena 1.5.4
- Uninstall Community Builder 1.2
- Install CB 1.2.1
- Configured CB 1.2.1 to work with Kunena. I also created a CB member list - the CB items took half an hour to piece together.
- Add CB items to user menu; add Kunena to top menu; publish top menu on all pages
- Reviewed Kunena settings and adjusted the forum parameters
- Locked = no
- Public Access Level = Everybody
- Include Child Groups = yes
- Admin Access Level = Manager
- Include Child Groups = yes
- Review posts = no
Of course you can change these categories and restrict their view so that non-registered users cannot see their contents and, in doing so, you also cut those items from the RSS feed. Makes sense, doesn't it. If you don't want non-registered users to see your forum material then why provide them a back-door means to view that material via RSS feeds.
You have a problem with your Joomla template that it doesn't collapse the left or right-hand modules neatly. This will mean that your Kunena forum will be constricted in width. I like the theme you've chosen but I don't think the template will work for you without making considerable changes to the CSS.
Cheers
