Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

When legacy is not ON then I get standard message "direct access..." (on J1.5.10)

Will that be fixed in some future versions ?

Beside that legacy "issue", I had no problem whatsoever with transition from 109 to 153..

Kunena 1.5.3 is final and native. Do you have Community Builder installed, too?

Hello,

Kunena 1.5.3 works natively on Joomla! 1.5.x without enabled the plugin legacy like explained here : docs.kunena.com/index.php/Kunena_1.5.3_Read_Me .

You problem doesn't come from the legacy, where this message is displayed, in recent discussions, in categories ?

Hi,

I did it again, twice, just to be absolutely sure:

When I disable system/legacy plugin, in main menu - when I click on FORUM link in main menu I get a complete white page which says: "Direct Access to this location is not allowed". When I enable legacy plugin, forum works normally.

I Have no Community builder installed.

which works only when legacy plugin enabled?

It does not make me any problem for now, but it is strange...

During the install process, i had legacy plugin disabled, as I expected K153 to be native, and everything went well.

Did you delete the Navigation Point Forum in navigation menu and set it again/new? You should do so.

Any SEF plugins installed?

Hi,

You either have another plugin, module or extension installed or you are using a template that is not 1.5 native.

Kunena 1.5.3 is fully native and will not create a message like that by itself.

Please make sure you are not using an outdated template and that any modules you have installed are 1.5 native as well.
