the version 1.6 doesnt work in both j1.5 and j1.6
I have tested and tired i decided yesterday to go with Kunena 1.5

this step you have done is a mess, sorry. Somebody has to tell you.
Look at your forum, hundreds of people are complaining/reporting.

sorry.

you should make the modules for 1.5.
then fix and launch again (WHEN REALLY READY) the version kunena 1.6, not before.
(no professional at all guys.)

You haven't explained what the issue you have encountered with k1.6 :(

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

I'm confused... Kunena 1.6 works great for us. It installs well, runs reliably, and has given our site a great forum to replace phpBB3 with. I wasn't aware that it had these severe installation and functionality issues. I'd love to be enlightened by what these issues are.

Are you able to use BBcode?
Are you able to edit your profile including change avatar?
Are you able to use smilies?
...
and some other issues.

Certainly you have had some luck with the installation, because hundreds of others like me, we have been obligated to look back into 1.5

Have your tests and report. if you want. ;)

Kunena 1.5 is not being developed anymore and it will not get anything else than security fixes.

Kunena 1.6 is far more stable than Kunena 1.5 ever was, but it requires users to have pretty new software installed into both your server and latest stuff for Joomla. For example it doesn't work well with over half a year old templates, mostly because many of those depended on 6 years old JavaScript library.

If you are not happy with the product, I will refund all the money you have paid to us and you can pick some other component that fits better to your needs.

Or instead of that you could actually try to use our support, which is pretty good on solving those issues -- for free.

Well yes actually, I can use use all those features. See, I read the relevant documents in the Documentation section of this site that explained:

- the requirements for running Kunena 1.6: docs.kunena.org/index.php/K_1.6_Technical_Requirements

- the Mootools compatibility requirements: docs.kunena.org/index.php/Mootools_1.2.4_%28Part_1%29 and docs.kunena.org/index.php/Mootools_1.2.4_%28Part_2%29

Sounds to me like you're having the Mootools issue.
