Hello,

this is the most s*****d thing I've ever seen for a serious component like kunena.
there is not a LATEST module for 1.5.

Since kunena 1.6 is plenty of problems (many can not even install this version) we prefer to continue using 1.5, but then another problem arise: No Latest Module! OMG!

UNBELIEVABLE.
:silly:

You know guys, I certainly dont have to teach you things, you are doing a good work so far ...
but really, these things needs to be taken into account, specially when the new version K1.6 is kind of buggy everywhere, including the installation.

Now those guys like me, looking into the direction of 1.5 are here, with empty hands.

for exmaple the creation of a repository (archive) of all old useful modules and plugins is a MUST! specially if you planning to become serious.

thanks

J

Modules made for k1.5 wasn't official so you will not found it in joomlacode.org, the kunena team has only made plugins and modules for k1.6

the version 1.6 doesnt work in both j1.5 and j1.6
I have tested and tired i decided yesterday to go with Kunena 1.5

this step you have done is a mess, sorry. Somebody has to tell you.
Look at your forum, hundreds of people are complaining/reporting.

sorry.

you should make the modules for 1.5.
then fix and launch again (WHEN REALLY READY) the version kunena 1.6, not before.
(no professional at all guys.)

I'm confused... Kunena 1.6 works great for us. It installs well, runs reliably, and has given our site a great forum to replace phpBB3 with. I wasn't aware that it had these severe installation and functionality issues. I'd love to be enlightened by what these issues are.

Are you able to use BBcode?
Are you able to edit your profile including change avatar?
Are you able to use smilies?
...
and some other issues.

Certainly you have had some luck with the installation, because hundreds of others like me, we have been obligated to look back into 1.5

Have your tests and report. if you want. ;)
