Could you post any messages before you deleted the sample messages ("Welcome Mat" and "Suggestion Box")?
Normally, Kunena works straight-out-of-the-box, i.e. without having to do anything. The question then is this: what changes have you made?

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

I understand the question. Yes, it's quite confusing for new users of Kunena - I'm not talking about website managers, I'm talking about the everyday, non technically-minded users - knowing where to go to start posting new messages. This difficulty has been with Kunena even before Kunena existed ... way back in the old days of Fireboard! :side:
According to the information posted in A few Kunena 1.6 Screenshots , K 1.6 will have a "New Topic" tab. I presume this answers taiklan's question.

Hi Sozzled
The new version of Kunena indeed sounds promising, but I have a near deadline on a project I can't wait weeks until this is released. What can be done in the meantime??
Thanks for your help

Hi,
I am new to kuena, it seems like a cool component.
However I am stuck as I cannot craete a new tread or else I don't know how.
How can a customer create a new thread. I would be very happy if someone could assist me on this.
I have already set uo the configuration to allow customers to create a topic or a thread.
Help needed!
Thanks in advance,
CCB
