Question I converted to phpbb Kunena

In phpbb usernames are case sensitive, but in Joomla you cannot have two users with the same name: Matias, matias and MaTiAs are the same user. This is also true with Mátiás and Mätiäs. It's not Joomla feature; it's how MySQL compares strings when it's in UTF-8 mode..

Did you upgrade from the fireboard forum?

I have japanese kanji and kana characters on some of my posts on phpBB3 and when I did conversion with this converter to pbpBB -> Fireboard and update to Kunena kanji characters didn't get converted. So I don't have any more japanese characters on these posts after conversion... any idea how to make conversion correctly?
