Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Hi, guys~
nice to see you guys here again!

I've used FB more than a year.
Recently, I moved to new web hosting company.
And I realized that FB and Kunena is not installed... :dry:

The only thing I could suspect is the minimum system requirements for install.
New host provides php 4.4.9 and database 5.0.67
doesn't it satisfy the condition?

or... what can make Kunena installation failed? :S

Hi,

You need php 4.3 or higher and mysql 5.0 or higher - so that seems fine.

Make sure your php timeout is set to 120 sec. The installer of Joomla 1.5 takes a while to upload and unzip the archive. If it hits the timeout it quietly dies, without any errors or messages.

I tried to find the php timeout setting.. but couldn't... :blush:

I got this error message...
Have no idea what happened...

anybody can help?!!

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 15728640 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 7680 bytes) in /www/xxxx/libraries/joomla/utilities/simplexml.php(302) : eval()'d code on line 1

16M memory limit isn't enough for Joomla. I recommend using 64M limit in your php.ini.

I just downloaded 1.08 Stable and installed. It is telling me that the Install Failed due to System Requirements. It's saying I don't have PHP 5.1.6 and the required SQL version, yet I checked my server and I have all the required versions. Any idea why it would be doing this? 1.07b installs perfectly. So I'm somewhat confused, as I know for a fact I meet the System Requirements on my server. It is a dedicated server that I run myself.
