Have you checked that your server meets the [url= /forum?func=view&catid=16&id=1447#1449.
]minimum system requirements[/url]?

My recommendation is to use Kunena 1.0.8. There's nothing essentially wrong with Kunena 1.0.9 but it's still very new. There may be traces of previously bad Kunena instals in your SQL tables; you may need to DROP all tables with fb_ prefix.

sozzeld, please inform yourself better, before you are telling something about such big affairs.

Quote from DEV-Team:

The Kunena Team is proud to announce the immediate availability of Kunena 1.0.9. This is a security release and all users are urged to upgrade immediately.

This release addresses a number of issues. A legacy security issue inherited form the Fireboard installer has been fixed as well as pagination issues and RSS.

@Tryweryn:

This sounds like the "30-second timeout on Joomla 1.5.x". Please try to install Kunena 1.0.9 from the Webserver. How to do this exactly, can you read here

You should NOT mess around in your database. Don't drop your tables, you will loose all your data!!!

Which method of installation did you use? from URL, download to own computer and the upload or from local directory on server?

Visit the Kunena documantation .
